The Des Moines Menace organization takes pride in the success that many former players have achieved in the professional ranks. More than 20 former Menace players have played Major League Soccer. Two former Des Moines stars -- Ezra Hendrickson and Andy Gruenebaum -- played for the 2008 MLS Champion Columbus Crew. Six other former Menace players made their MLS debuts in the 2008 and 2009 seasons.
