Fun, 3v3 soccer tournament comes to The U

Kick around the Clock, an indoor soccer tournament hosted by the Des Moines Menace, celebrates its fifth year with some exciting changes:

  • A new format: 3v3 soccer for boys and girls, U6-U18
  • A new venue: The U in Grimes. Visit to learn more about this newly opened facility.
  • A new website:
The event, a Super Bowl weekend tradition, is set for Friday, Jan. 31 (U6-U14 teams) and Saturday, Feb. 1 (U15-U18).
Please check out for the details, including the tentative schedule, rules and answers to questions you might have.
Sign up by Tuesday, Jan. 14 to ensure a spot in this fun, overnight event. Registration is $150 per team. With a max roster of six, this means a cost as small as $25 per player. We think this is a bargain for a minimum of three games during the winter months. We hope you agree, and we hope to see you at The U, for Kick around the Clock 2014!

Happy New Year,

Adam Small

Tournament Director
