Join us for Youth Soccer Night

 
 
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa – Monday, June 3, 2013 – Summer is here, and we kick it off with Youth Soccer Night this Saturday: June 8!
 
Here is your chance to see the Menace’s men’s and women’s team for FREE.
 
·        Who: Youth-soccer players, coaches and referees
o   Players get in free when they wear their jersey or team t-shirt.
o   Coaches get in free when they show their coaching pass.
o   Referees get in free when they show their badge.
 
·        What: A FREE doubleheader of great soccer. Cheer on Iowa’s Premier Soccer Teams!
 
·        When: Saturday June 8
o   Menace women play the Madison 56ers at 4:30 p.m.
o   Menace men play the Springfield Demize at 7:30 p.m.
 
·        Where: Valley Stadium in West Des Moines (4440 Mills Civic Parkway)
 
There is no RSVP necessary for this event. All you have to do is show up with your jersey, pass, or badge and you get in at no charge, for a fun night of top-level soccer. The regular prices for tickets are $7 for youth (ages 5-18) and $9 for adults (19 and older); Ages 4 and under get in free.
 
Please spread the word with all youth-soccer players, coaches and referees in your club, and make plans to come together for a fun night of Menace Soccer!

June 15 is also ALUMNI NIGHT
Celebrating our 20th season, we welcome back players and coaches who have been part of the Menace’s success.
 
Saturday, JUNE 22: WELCOME, USYSA REGIONALS!
We host the players, coaches and referees participating in the Region-II tournament.
 
 
ABOUT THE MENACE: The Des Moines Menace provides the highest level of soccer in Iowa. In its 20th season, the Menace men’s side competes in the 65-team United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL). The Menace’s women’s team enters the Women’s Premier Soccer League in 2013, after debuting as the Women’s League Soccer 2012 champions. The Menace teams play their home matches in a fun, family-friendly environment at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines. The organization promotes a healthy lifestyle through its popular youth programs, including the Menace Academy (select soccer for ages 9-19), camps, clinics, Junior Menace and tournaments.
