High school and middle school soccer teams are invited to be part of the fun at the third annual Menace Kick around the Clock Tournament at Soccer House.
The overnight tournament is set to begin as early as 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3 and conclude the next night (Saturday, Feb. 4) around midnight.
Divisions for the tournament are:
- High school boys (U16 and U18 divisions)
- High school girls
- U14 coed
- U14 girls
- U12 coed
- U12 girls
The 2011 Kick around the Clock (recapped here) hosted 22 teams from 15 communities across Iowa. Here is the tentative schedule, which is subject to the number of participating teams:
- FRIDAY NIGHT, from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. (Saturday): U12 and U14
- SATURDAY, from 8 a.m. until mid-afternoon: High School Boys (U16 and U18 divisions)
- SATURDAY, from 3 p.m. until midnight: High School Girls

ABOUT THE MENACE: The Des Moines Menace provides the highest level of soccer in Iowa. The Menace men’s side competes in the 64-team United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League (PDL).
