U11-U18 Academy Team Registration Information

Uniforms

All uniform kits need to be purchased directly from the Menace. Each new player will need to purchase the entire kit at a cost of $250. Returning players can purchase individual items to replace or supplement their existing uniforms including practice gear.

Registration Documents

All documents need to be filled out and turned in by August 1.  Forms are "interactive PDF's" which allows you to type on the forms and then you have the ability to print and/or save to your computer.   In addition to the forms, we need a copy of each player's birth certificate and digital photo.

U9/U10 Academy Program Information
Starting in Fall 2010, the Menace partnered with Dallas Center-Grimes and Soccer West Soccer Clubs to offer the U9/U10 Academy Program through each of these recreational club partners. The Academy Program was created by the Iowa Soccer Association as an alternative playing option to more advanced players in the U9 and U10 age groups.  At DCG and Soccer West, the U9 and U10 Academy Teams are coached by professional, licensed coaches from the Menace.

The idea behind offering two levels of play at U9 and U10 is to allow players to play with and against players of similar ability and at a level where they will experience the most success and have the most fun playing the sport. Des Moines Area Select Soccer Coalition (DMASSC)
**As a registered player you are responsible for full payment of Academy dues regardless of payment options and player status. If for any reason you choose not to continue the entire soccer calendar year with the Menace you are still financially responsible for fees in their entirety.**

Bad Standing and Player Eligibility - Any soccer player may be put into bad standing or lose player eligibility for non-payment of fees owed to ISA or an affiliate of ISA (ISA Bylaws Article II) including one of the Des Moines Area Select Soccer Coalition Member Clubs.

Penalties - Player cards may be collected by the club and withheld until the outstanding balance is cleared up with the DMASSC member club and written verification from the club is received by ISA. If the outstanding balance is not cleared up by the end of the season, select players will not be offered bids to play for another DMASSC member club until written verification is received from the club in which an outstanding balance still remains.

*January 1 and June 1 of each year a list of players with outstanding balances owed to their current member club will be submitted to ISA for sanctioning.

iSoccer Partnership
All Menace Academy players and Menace affiliate players have the opportunity to sign-up for iSoccer. This program is an online training platform that helps players improve their technical skills. The cost for players to register is $6 and the subscription is good for an entire year.
